Dr. Chris Allen Cerceo has a Bachelor’s degree (Cum Laude) in Biological Science from the University of the Pacific and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from The College Of Physicians and Surgeons Arthur Dugoni School of Dentistry of the University of the Pacific. He is a lifetime member in the Supreme Chapter of the Tao Kappa Omega Dental Honor Society for excellence in dental education and studies.
Dr. Cerceo has advanced training in Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction from the University of California San Francisco, Dental Anesthesia and Sedation from the University of Southern California, Implant Surgery and Restorations from the Las Vegas Implant Institute and Aesthetic and Computerized Dentistry from The University of Zurich School of Dentistry in Zurich Switzerland.
Dr. Cerceo holds membership and Certification in Intravenous Sedation from The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and is one of less than 1% of all General Dentists licensed to provide in-office intravenous sedation by the California State Board of Dental Examiners. He is also a California State Dental Board Office Sedation Examiner. Other memberships include: The American Dental Association, The California Dental Association, Sacramento District Dental Society, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Society of Office Based Anesthesia and The Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Cerceo is celebrating his twenty-eighth year as your Lake Tahoe dentist.
Further, he is a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies in Advanced Anterior Esthetic Dentistry (1998). Dr. Cerceo holds a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and a Masters in the American College of Dental Sedation from the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Cerceo has held the position of Hospital Dental Staff Chief and active staff status with Barton Memorial Hospital, during his tenure in South Lake Tahoe.
Dr. Cerceo, his wife Jeanie and children Martin and Jaclyn, and dog Bella, have resided in Lake Tahoe since 1983, and spend their spare time with mountain biking, camping, snow and water skiing, RVing, fishing, rock climbing, school and sports activities and anything else they can JAM into their schedule.
